> It happened again; although I could install the "Personal Desktop" RH 9 completely. It was during the installation of the additional packages that the machine shutdown. Call me stupid, but me thinks there is something about the tetex packages. Of the seven times I have tried to install RH 9 in the last 3 days, on the two occasions that I was staring intently at the monitor as to what was being installed, it has been tetex when my system collapses. Well...I am gonna try once again ...lemme see if removing those packages will be of any help....
Tried just not installing those packages? On an old computer I have
around that had the i/o card go out it did the exact same thing. Quite
annoying as it'd then proceed to alternate between cd and hdd errors.
