Problem:
I have an icmp block on my Cache (Squid) server,
using iptables.
Its a block on the Forwarding chain, which means I
can't use icmp
requests on ips outside my LAN.
The prolbem occours when I flush the chain, I
expect all the icmp
requests to start working. That does not happen. For
example;
Traceroute works, but ping doesn't.
I am stumped. Help!!
