Okay, I fired up the Slackware 9.0 box to see what I have, and I have
one of those cards working on it just fine. The driver to use would be
the default kernel driver that came with the system. It's the 3c59x
driver. Try doing a modprobe 3c59x.o and see what happens. If it fails,
the failure will be logged in /var/log/syslog. In order to get it loaded
by default on startup, the install system will create a start up file in
/etc/rc.d/ called rc.netdevice. All you will see in there is a modprobe
call that loads the detected NIC. If you didn't do the detect network
device on install option, then you should just edit the rc.modules file
and uncomment the modprobe 3c59x.o line.
If none of this works, then you might have bigger problems. Hope it
works.

I've been burning the drivers onto CDs since my floppy drive isn't
working.
I tried insmod and modprobe, neither worked. The other stuff I don't
know
how to do, I'm new to this.
