Is it a PCI or an older ISA card? Some of the older 3com cards have trouble loading as modules. You may need to compile it into the kernel. In my own experiance, you run into more trouble pulling in other drivers than just using the drivers that come with the kernel. Just make sure you are loading the right one. I have two different versions of this card, neither will work but I know that one of them worked in RedHat 9. I tried drivers that 3com linked to and an unofficial driver that was also recommended by 3com. Neither worked. Does anyone have any idea how I can get it to work? _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
