Why don't we use the mailing list as a member-list?
The thought comes to mind that maybe we're trying to avoid having members set up
mail to their mlug account and never checking it, but on the other hand, it
doesn't seem to me that someone who never participates is much of a member
anyway.
If people are _really_ anti 'no membership without participation,' perhaps we
could just store an email address, and only use it for (moderated) mass email
announcements whenever something really important happens. I mean c'mon, if
you're a member, we should have some way of getting ahold of you.
