Wow. What do you gain from digitally signing your messages?

Well, I digitally sign all my messages, so that's probably one of the things. The other issue is that I'm using Mac OS X which probably uses a slightly different encoding. I've been using the Mail app due to it's integration with iCal and the AddressBook app (which all then syncs with my Treo 300).
