In the very near future, I'm going to attempt to install Mandrake 9.1 as I've been told that it's very easy to install.  I've tried installing Red Hat 6 before, but the installer was way too confusing back then as I knew absolutely nothing about my hardware, etc.  Any advice on which partition should go where?  I'm going to try to get it so that the dual boot will have Mandrake, Windows 98, and Windows xp, with xp being the default that comes up if you don't press any buttons.  Should the windows partitions be set up prior to the Mandrake one, or vice versa?  The dual boot instructions from Microsoft's site on getting xp and 98 up has been helpful up to this point - if you follow those instructions, you put xp on the system, format the 98 partition, then put xp on again after that - which requires a total of 3 partition spaces to start with... I've read that Linux will require one normal partition and one shared... so how many partitions should I put in to get dual booter for Linux, Windows XP, and Windows 98 all on the same machine?  Would there have to be 3 for the windows and 2 for the Linux for a total of 5, or would there need to be fewer than that as there would only be 3 OSes?!?
