OK, I found them where you said I would, .... just don't know what to do 
next?   :-)

Attached is a couple of pages that shows what I found.
One is saved as a StarOffice document, and the other is saved as just a 
text document.  They say the same thing.

In /proc/bus/usb there are four things:

1.a folder named 001, and inside that folder are 4 items named 001-004, each 18 bytes, but none of which Nautilus says it can view.
2.a folder named 002, and inside that folder are 3 items named 001-003, each 18 bytes, but none of which Nautilus says it can view.
3.a file that is named “devices” and is 0 bytes, but whose contents are pasted below:
