Guess I have a similar question. Do IDE controller cards have limits on
the size of drive they can handle? I'd imagine they do but none of the
ones I've looked at lately have mentioned such a limit. I want to keep my
price for such a card under $50 so I can't get very fancy. Also do any of
them support hot swapping of IDE drives (with a removable drive drawer)?
I'm running out of places to mount drives and can't afford to add a new
computer right now. Thanks.
