It's not about the features, it's about my peace of mind. You just know that
one patch is not going to do it, and eventually there'll be another patch to
worry about. I have been running qmail for nearly 2 years now, and I haven't
heard of a single critical problem with it. The only time I ever have to touch
the system is to add or remove fake e-mail accounts :)
I agree with Ian though; qmail is a very non-standard (from Linux's point of
view) system. That's why I switched to postfix on one of my new installations.
