I wonder who would even consider sendmail as a viable choice after all its 
history of bugs and vulnerabilities. You'd think it's over, and yet here we go 
again. I could understand why it installed *and* activated in all RedHat 
installations by default (so many people use it and are used to it), but it is 
the first thing to be deleted from all of my machines.

# rpm -e sendmail ;)

It there anything that sendmail can do that nothing else can?
