I cant see MU right from my window, does the walls effect the signal? If high gain antenna, what is that i should go for, actually i have rare ideas on antenna stuff, how do i use that for this purpose, please let me know and thanks for your info. When you say you 'get the signal almost till' you enter your apt building, does that mean with the laptop and a PCMCIA card? Can you see the Memorial Union from a window in your apartment? If so, a high gain antenna may connect you. If you are on the 'wrong' side, you may need a friend on the 'right' side.
