Would they let someone from MLUG set it up so that all you had to do was
plug your the wireless point into your network somewhere? There shouldn't
be much to setup but if you don't already have a secure place to connect
the wireless point maybe somebody could donate an old computer and set it
up to be secure. Rather than getting a wireless point then you could just
get a wifi card and put it in the system to act as a wireless point and
secure gateway, firewall, etc. The Linksys wireless card I got for my
server was less than $50 and works pretty well.
