There are wikiwiki systems, where you can attach your name to a wiki
page, and you will get mailed the diff when anyone changes it. It's a
combination bulletin-board / mailing list /collaborative authoring
system. I believe zWiki and MoinMoin allow this.

I think we should change the current "2.4.3 is out" webpage to a wiki
system (e.g. tikiwiki.sf.net) I like free-for-all wiki systems, but I
realize the "soft security" idea might stick in the craw of the security
professionals on the list. Therefore, we could make people login with
their MLUG login to change anything.

An alternative idea... Everyone knows we can all make web pages on MLUG
if we have ~/public_html/. What aboput a script that looks at
modification times of each users ~/public_html directory, then we could
have "most recently modified" links on the front page. That would be a
little different way of encouraging community... Kind of keeping track
of what the members are doing.

I kinda miss the meetings. I attended some when Keith was running
things and I had great time.

Regards,
Mark
