newer versions of os/2 warp server used ibm's jfs for their filesystems,
i believe. smp was also supported, as were quite a few other advanced
features. a company called ecomstation now owns/supports/releases their
own updated version of os/2. http://www.ecomstation.com. i remember
using os/2 warp shortly before my aunt and uncle bought me the win95
upgrade. warp was pretty sweet at the time, but i moved to win95 and
then to linux and nextstep a couple of months later.
