If you have CUPS installed, it can connect to printers using the "Windows
Printer via SAMBA" device option. If you use LPR, AFAIK, your only option is
IP-based access which would not work in DHCP environment.

Add "guest ok = no" option under [printers] in /etc/samba/smb.conf and set up
Samba users (smbadduser).
