What problem could anyone have with mirroring network resources? Barbarians. ;)

Well, I bothered limiting Squid to a short list of IP ranges that should
be things I use. Let me know if it still fuds up your IRC crap.

Anyone not using some sort of caching proxy server should be spanked.
Especially if you're like me and tend to download big files onto several
machines from weird distant places. International downloads are sort of
painful. :)
