Quicktime is supported on linux. Quicktime is a format. It uses lots of different
codecs. Codecs are what is a bit lacking on linux. Sorenson v1/v3 (SVQ1/SVQ3),
Cinepak, RPZA are all video codecs that quicktime uses that are supported on linux.
Qclp, Q-Design QDMC/QDM2, MACE 3/6 (using QT's DLLs) are all audio formats that quicktime
uses that are supported on linux.
