Hey everyone,
I'm wanting to provide wireless connectivity to my laptop. I have spare
PCI slots on my firewall and spare ethernet ports on my hub.
Does anyone know if there is a way to plug in a wireless ethernet card
into a Linux server and turn it into a wireless access point? I believe
that my iBook can do this with its PCMCIA card, so I would think that
there's got to be some PCI card (or a bunch for that matter) that work
with Linux and that support the ability to become wireless access points.
Making one like this would be cheaper than buying a dedicated wireless
access point as well as take up a lot less space.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers,
Neil Bradshaw
