Kind of... http://www.parallaxinc.com/
they are microprocessors that use a twisted form of BASIC to program...
they can do serial communications along with basic logic
the BS2 has 16 in/out pins and it is the size of two postage stamps...
(tiny brain for a robot)
A buddy of mine is using one with a stepper motor to crack a safe he got but
locked the combo inside... brute force code cracking on a mechanical lock...
