Most of the sites selling equipment usually have the equipment manuals
you can download.
From my memory all 802.11b AP's and cards allow "roaming" between AP's
without loosing your connection.
On the daisy chained question, it depends on how you are using the
equipment. If you want a bigger "circle" for
a point-to-multipoint system then multiple AP's by themselves won't
increase the range, but if you are going from point
A to point D by hitting point B then point C then _most_ AP's will also
act as a bridge between AP's. If you want greater
range in a point-to-multipoint system then you can increase the range by
sectoring spaces using directional antennas that
have a higher dBi and by helping to block out unwanted interference.
