[MLUG] Tricking Browser Identification Techniques

Hey everyone,

I had this idea for getting around problems with alleged browser
incompatibility problems. When I go to my online banking web site, I have
to use IE on Windows to make it work. I'm 99.99 percent sure that it would
work with Mozilla, but it won't even let me try.

Does anybody know how web servers know what browser I'm using? Can you
think of any way to trick the server into thinking I have IE for Windows
so that I can check my fscking bank account balance with Linux? I'm
brainstorming on it now, but someone on the list might show their genius
and figure this one out before me. I'm not too worried about it, I just
want to know how much money is in my account!
