I'm still very new to OSX.2 but, shouldn't there be a way to share file
between the two using NFS exports from the Linux box? Maybe my
expectations of the BSD subsystem are too high ;).
I am very interested in the "hows & whys" of this thread as the
tendencies compelling me to go form XP to OSX are getting stronger every
day.

Subject: [MLUG] Mac and Linux file sharing.
Hi,
We have mac and pc in a single lab and it is needed to share files
between these. So I installed "netatalk" for mac-pc file sharing, pc is
running redhat linux 7.2, mac-g4, OSX.
Appletalk services starts successfully when I boot linux, but I am not
getting how to connect this to mac. I have the ip's of the two.
I tried with "netatalk-config" but couldnt get it.
Any suggestions,
Thanks,
Suman K
