My freeshell account has a new "nospam" option I can turn on which discards
all HTML encoded emails. According to its man page, "90% of all spam comes
in the form of HTML"
Occasionally, I'll select HTML if I need to use color, eg.
http://www.<red-font>important_change</red-font>.state.mo.us, but only when
dealing with MS users. If you're using a unix client for mail, I assume you
can understand underscores for emphasis..
