It looks to me like give people a gun instead of a knife, because it is not 
so sharp. XP has for the first time on M$ OS's a full IP stack.
The only reason for XP being not hit as often is, that is yet not as much 
used.

BTW: i gave up on trying to leave users on 2000/XP with userrights instead of 
admin rights. Most drivers / programs do constantly things, which are not 
allowed to users and there is no good way to allow only this.
