should be service samba stop|start|restart and so on. (or smb, I ferget)
You can also type setup at the command line, select system services and
select or deselect system services there.
Also try (I think) at the command line: redhat-config-services. This will
open a gui to start and stop services.
Thanks,
Bob

yesterday. I know that I have to turn on Apache by using the command of
httpd start, is there some where that I need to do the same with Samba? I
only started xinetd.
