I am attempting to set samba up on a server, so that we can update a webserver from a windows box. I don't have SWAT running, and have yet to figure out how to get it runinng. I have read that I can make my own smb.conf file, and was attempting to do it that way. I have not had any luck thus far in the box showing up in the windows network neighborhood.
Any ideas?
