It is an interesting change. Back when I was in college, if someone had a
psychotic break or manic episode, they were unlike to have the opportunity
to announce their peculiar ideas to thousands of people all over the
world. That is no longer true. I'm sure these people often recover later
and really regret what they'd done. Their old web pages can be taken
down, usually, but the 100,000 e-mails they sent can't be recalled!
Funny -- it seems almost universal that the really nutty ones use lots of
variation in font color and size.
