Seeing the "NameOfIso.iso" in the last post reminded me of a question I
had. Is there another way to create a cd image other than using the
command,
"cat /dev/cdrom > /home/user/image.iso" ?

A quick and easy way to check on your cdrw drive is to use the command:
"cdrecord -scanbus"
which will tell you the scsi port to which it's installed (if it's
installed).
It should be installed by default in RedHat. Once you know the bus
address, you
can burn a cd with "cdrecord speed=X dev=1,0,0 NameOfIso.iso
