Verizon was very good for me with one exception where I had an outage for
three days. I lived, though. It was better than Mediacom, who shut us off
because I used a static IP when their DHCP servers weren't working, and
got pissed when they discovered this a few months later.
Don't expect much in the way of technical support from the big V. They
will leave you alone and let you do whatever you want with your Internet
service, unlike Mediacom which hates servers. If you call them, though,
be prepared to talk to someone who only got the job because the Chimp
couldn't speak English.
