Well, thanks a lot for the discussion. There seems to be a strong trend
towards the IBM Thinkpad, and I will definitely take a look. I guess that
spending some additional money on the purchase and saving trouble later pays
off in the long run.
(and, indeed, not having to use a trackpad is another good point).
