I've had a ThinkPad A22e for a little over a year now,
I haven't had any problems with it except when the HD
went out. When it did go out however IBM had a box at
my door the next day to return it in, and paid
shipping both ways. I've never got that from any
other companies. I've been pleased with it, I've had
SuSE, RedHat, 98 and XP on this notebook at one time
or another. I have another notebook, sony, that
recently broke and I agree the trackpoint is better
than those touchpads like my sony had. Only thing i
don't like about this notebook is no IR and no
keyboard or mouse ports, but that's only cause my
company bought the cheapest one they could find :)
