RedHat 7.3 comes with SSH rpm. All you need to do is install it, edit the
config file to fit your needs, then start the daemon (/etc/init.d/ssh start).
I usually disable protocol v.1 support as it was (still is?) buggy and only
allow DSA authentication in /etc/ssh/sshd_config.
I recommend looking at 'ntsysv --level 2345' to make sure SSH starts in every
usable runlevel.
Samba is a more complicated beast but it comes with very good documentation as
manual and HTML pages. Ask questions here if something doesn't work right.
