Wow; if this site is for real, it is absolutely the bomb. :-) So we
can read that hypermicro has an absurd 9.71/10 rating overall (on
170+ reviews), and is on the top ten list of vendors overall.
And it isn't strictly ceiling effect (everybody gets a good rating).
Micro Pro, another possibly needed retailer, only gets a 6.48 (which
is average), while Megahaus, a vendor I was already leary of, gets a
6.00. Googlegear (another possibly key vendor) gets a 7.28 on over
300 reviews (above average), but may or may not have return
policies that people like. (There's a problem here of course;
*nobody* has the return policy everybody wants ("Sure we'll take
it back, pay all shipping costs, and pay you $50 an hour for your
time") and there has to be a pretty low upper bound on how good that
score can be.
