I'm using "sorcerer" but there seems to be weird issues with it. I haven't
tried gentoo yet, but perhaps I should ;)
As for swap space, I'd recommend at least 512MB, if not a full 1GB. I found
that it is a massive aid when installing software (tmpfs mount for the
installation source), and on an 80GB or 40GB or whatever large harddrive,
1gb isn't that big of a deal, most of the time.
