I'm not overly familiar with the requirements, but would this handle a
recent SuSE dist with at least most, if not all of the bells and wistles?

I'm looking to get my brother a better comp, right now he's on a 266mhz
gateway running Win95. The only forseeable problem for him is that he uses
comet cursor, and I think being limited to software not designed by the
devil himself might be shocking to him. ;-)

Seriously though, his applications include desktop publishing, school
papers, and playing games, which is a very limited proposition on a 266.
Right now he only has a solitaire package (250 types of solitaire, what
genius thought somebody would be THAT bored?), the microsoft fun pack
(minesweep, solitaire, and hearts), and tetrinet. I think KDE has
replacements for all his games, more so with SuSE, StarOffice and OpenOffice
will handle his desktop publishing and schoolwork. Anything I'm missing?
and will this work on the box advertised below?
