OK, so one thing I routinely do is crank up the preferred font sizes
since a lot of web designers are just sadistic; this helps a lot.
And, of course, right after I post, I did come up with some pages
whose rendering probably sucked only because of the font issues. I
suspect that this will get fixed, and I *believe* that it is mostly
due to the broken-ness of some page design hard-coding fonts to use.
