Hmmm... can't figure out how to run those disks without starting setup.

Anyway, it looks like I gave up too soon. Slackware's build of 'ln' is not a
dynamic executable, so I put the three libraries bzip2 uses on the partition to
be restored, removed the links in the ramdisk, and then put back in links to the
files on disk. bzip2 seems to be running finely now.
