Debian 3 actually comes with postfix... originally we had it on there,
then we fell back on sendmail to make the move easier. And THEN it turned
out that it was harder to get everything working with sendmail than it was
with postfix -- how sendmail manages to generate "permission denied"
errors when it infamously does everything as root, I have absolutely no
idea.
So... uhm... yeah, probably will switch over to postfix at some point
unless someone knows of a compelling reason not to.
What other IMAP daemons are there? (thus spake the lifelong
telnet/ssh/pine user)
