You've got to use a CD burning program with the ability to use ISOs.  On windows I suggest using Nero, as it is simply the best windows burning software ever, and under linux I use gtoaster/cdrecord, but any cd recording program on linux should support it.  Also, for sound cards in linux, I've pretty much been under the belief that it has a pretty good list of compatible sound cards.  Never found a card that didn't work.  And if it doesn't, you could always go and buy a old sound blaster for a couple bucks.
