you can start up dhcpd only on the interface you want it to respond on.
my gateway box at home responds to dhcp requests only on interface eth1.
just start up dhcpd with the name of the interface you want it to
respond on; i.e., 'dhcpd eth1' and all should be well. of course,
having some decent iptable rules to filter out any dhcp/bootp requests
from the external interface is also a safe bet...
