Several of my friends and I went together (to save on shipping)  and bought
a 6 pack of Seagate 9.1 GB full-height SCSI-2 drives from a website called
www.softwareandstuff.com along with several controller cards.  The cost for
the controller and hard drive together for me was $30. One of the other guys
is using three of them as a RAID box for his computer.

I got it running on a Pentium Pro computer that is being used as a file
server/webserver/ip masq box running slack 8 in my dorm room.

I'm very satisfied by the drive, it's fast and reliable.
