Maybe even more importantly than just the price decline is the nominal
and relative shrinkage in size. 15 years ago, that might have been
a full-height 5.25" form factor. I think next month you'll be able to
get a 12mm height 2" drive holding 40 gigs (those topped out at 20 last
I checked). Lots of storage is nice enough, but these things are small
enough to have a huge effect on everything else you can think of.
