Actually - we only HAVE to filter the under 18 crowd. Adults can request, and receive, unfiltered access. Some of the stuff we have to monitor for the under 18 year olds is insane. One of the clauses of the law, as it pertains to libraries at least, is that we have to monitor email communications. Does this mean that we can no longer offer access to email from the library? There is NO WAY we can comply with the law otherwise. It is beyond stupid!!
