The main problem is social and not legal. Besides the obvious social issue
of greed we really need to target the misconception that a kid seeing
naked bodies or sexual behavior will harm them in any way. I'm not
entirely against filtering as long as it is optional (the student can turn
it off) and the filter rules are public and open for discussion. Some
things I'd rather not see.. such as snuff sex photos.. but none of it
would hurt me. I've seen a lot of shit most people haven't and it really
is harmless. Actions can hurt.. smut can't.
