It would probably have been much cooler if he had used a Sawzall to
extricate the chip. In particular this one (I'm about three inches away
from buying it):

I've been doing work around the house instead of geeking out lately. It
feels pretty good to get away from the monitor and "hack" the kitchen. I
plan on using the above mentioned weapon of mass destruction to replace
our back door.
