Or they'll just cut you off. I only gave small randomly spaced
contributions to my alma mater, and they just flat out stopped sending me
the alumni magazine and contacting me for donations. Now, I could feel
guilty about this, but I can't say at the moment that I do. So I guess it
depends on the school and the student involved. In my case, there was an
obvious cost/benefit decision to make, and they made it. :-)
