I'm helping some folks install a cable router this coming weekend. Did one
previously without much problem, but since then I've been doing more
reading about cable modems, etc.
Question: Is Columbia @Home or ATT/MediaOne? The reason I'm asking is that
ATT/MediaOne uses the Ethernet card MAC address to track the connection. If
that is so for Columbia, then would someone be kind enough to supply a
phone number where I could add the MAC address from the cable router? PS:
Using a Linksys EtherFast 4-port router ... how do I determine its MAC address?
