actually I have found that you can 512 cheaper still buying two 256 sticks,
I know this does not work for some people that only have two sockets for it,
but I got 512 in 2 256 sticks for 44 including tax, good RAM too, none of
this generic stuff.

Mac OS X 10.1 update CDs are available at the computer Spectrum. For
free, if you show them a previous proof of purchase of Mac OS X 10.0x.
They do not have "real" 10.1 boxes yet. The full report on my iMac DV SE
will be posted tonight. :-)

On a completely related note, I just checked prices on RAM at crucial.com,
and, oh my...they're practically giving the stuff away now. 512 MB PC133
for $69.29. I'm sure it's cheaper somewhere, but Crucial is supposed to
be bullet-proof.

On an unrelated note, I bought a round-trip non-stop ticket to from St.
Louis to San Diego today for $198.50.
