I havn't tried OpenOffice, but I've been using StarOffice 6 Beta and is
nice and does a good job of converting from Word, though I have not tried
anything too complicated yet.

I would guess the StarOffice would work really slow on a 166. SO 6 is kind
of slow (when compared to KWord) on a Pentium II 300. From this, infering
that OpenOffice would be slow on a 166 would not be too unfair.
